Elias Gabriel
Xeno Backend Application Developer
Greater New York City Area
My name is Elias Gabriel and I am currently a graduate of Riverdale Country School. After a gap year working and abroad, I will be attending Franklin W. Olin School of Engineering in the fall of 2018 studying Computer Engineering and Computer Science. At Riverdale, I have helped develop the computer science program through classes like Advanced Topics in Computer Science, a design-oriented project based class, and by co-fouding the school's first ever Middle School and High School robotics teams and Maker Programs. Currently, I am one of the four members behind Xeno, a Virtual Reality empathy platform aimed at allowing people to see and understand the perspectives and opinions of others. By providing an opportunity to "see the world through someone else's eyes", Xeno's goal is to break people out of their social and political bubbles and echo chambers.
