Want to feel what is like to step on the surface for Mars, Moon and to explore our vast Universe? Join us for a discussion regarding how leading VR companies like LOOT, Time & Discovery create amazing space experiences using VR as a way to immerse users into space exploration.
LOOT Interactive, in partnership with 8i and Time Inc. created the Buzz Aldrin: Cycling Pathways to Mars and, in collaboration with Linden Lab, created NASA’s Apollo Museum which will debut at The Art Of VR.
Visitors to the Apollo Museum can explore, in high-detail, one of mankind’s defining moments, the Apollo 11 mission, in which NASA landed the first human beings on Earth’s Moon. Explore true-to-scale models of the Saturn V rocket, Command Module and the Lunar Module, track the entire mission from launch to re-entry via a Museum-size mission map, and teleport to a recreation of the Apollo 11 moon landing site! The Apollo 11 Museum Experience will launch, alongside with Sansar for PC, Oculus Rift, and HTC VIVE users later this year.
Jeff Kluger is editor at large for Time Magazine & writer of seven books, including “Apollo 13” and the recently released “Apollo 8 - The Trilling Story Of The First Mission to the Moon”. Jeff also collaborated with LOOT and 8i during the production of Buzz Aldrin: Cycling Pathways to Mars.
